Just be careful on the install to confirm there's not any contact. On a 944S motor we're rebuilding, 1) the scraper was rocked slightly and making slight contact with a connecting rod bolt. We resolved by repositioning and grinding some of the scraper for clearance. Then 2) we still had some contact happening but only when the oil pan was installed. We finally figured out that one of the OEM screws holding the plastic baffle to the pan was contacting the scraper when the oil pan was torqued down. We replaced the screw with a lower profile head, and contact was gone.
