Default '44 rebuilds?

Speaking of 944 rebuilds anyone have any experience with these guys?

Todd, will you share some of the “sites” you’ve found about ’44 mods?

comments from guys who have used or bought from Broadfoot are highly variable. Do a search on Rennlist 944Turbo forum for some first hand comments.

Yep, as Tony says, their reputation for quality work is high, but their reputation for timely work and returning phone calls and customer service is very, very poor. I personally would not use them for that reason.

Dave, I would be happy to share my research on various different shops. I am still in "gathering" and "interview" mode, but I will let you know after I have talked to a few more shops.

Have met [Albert?] and run with them in HSR in this car:

Pic from their site and I think Daytona ... I see them at Sebring, always in the enduro. No rep preceeds them in HSR as far as racers .... now engine builders .... je ne sais pas. Perhaps they don't answer their phone b/c they are at the track ..?

That could be exactly right. The rumors I have heard is that they are not bad people at all, but rather that they are bad business people. I have also heard that they will "eventually" make everything right, and nobody complains about their products or their work once completed. Even the prices are supposedly right. When I was looking for a race car, I drooled over a couple they have for sale.
