Default WTB: 911 track car

I'm in the market for a track-ready 911. Prefer galvanized coupe tub, full cage, non-turbo, wide-body, big rubber, lightweight, good engine, rest of car can be in need of work (as long as price takes that into account).

Must be faster than BFH Racing's Crate II and capable of thoroughly humilating the Pipes.

PM or call (703-948-9176).

The price may not be right (my history tells me the "offer" price is historically way out of wack with true market values*) but here's a
1978, turbo body, 3.6, coilovers, rollbar etc.

There was (perhaps still is) a 944T, blue/yellow this guys been advertising for about 2yrs, no budge in price and well, still for sale...

Oooh... nice finds.

The 3.6 engined wide-body is more what I'm after, although I love the look of that long hood. Hmmmm... would the LH be HSR legal?

Both are the right color.

Steppin' up BIG John.

HSR is one of the series I'd like to do if/when I learn to race in the turbo water league. I'm jealous already.

I think it has displacement issues for HSR, but could be wrong.

Tony, I think I mostly dream BIG... but nothing wrong with dreaming, right?

To be honest, my main motivation for beginning what is likely to be a lengthy track car search is safety. I'd like a full cage, fuel cell, and fire supression system... and would rather not make those kind of mods to my current 911.

I agree completely. That was what drove me to sell a perfectly set-up 911 and buy a race car. You will never look back. DE is to racing as paintball is to armed combat.
