While coming off the track, were you able to get your helmet off in time before entering the pits?
Oh, that's right . . . you need to un-do the Clip on your HANS device from the helmet first.

It's not so easy with your gloves on.
I know its hot and the helmet exacerbates things in the heat of summer.

IIRC, these may not be compatible with newer HANS devices. These were designed for use with HANS with a metal clip on each side which held that side's tether separately from the other side. Newer HANS use a single tether than attaches to both sides of the helmet.
