Default Cruiser's cars taken for joyrides

Dorkis, beware where you park your car. This news report could easily have been about a Porsche. The report focuses on a parking lot in Florida whose owner uses customers cars while they are away on cruises.

The owner of the parking facility was caught on video and tracked by GPS. He even transported wood from a local hardware store (funny) and had a dog walking around on the trunk. (Hilarious)

The best part is that he denied taking the car for a ride.

This story is way more than just joyriding. It is almost as entertaining as locking up a bicycle that you do not own with your own lock and watching the owner try to ride away.

All I can say is park your car yourself if restauranting in DC.

I have seen what some of these guys do, and some of the precarious corners they leave your car hanging off of. Oh, and then you scratch head in wonderment after opening the parking tickets you get months later. (There was a news article about this)

I think the favorite was foul odor of burning clutch as the goof-ball valet got his first manual experience on some club goers M3 after he and his hottie walked in!

I’ve often been called “too cheap” or accused of “thinking my cars are too special to valet”… my answer, ummm.. we can take your car next time!

Speaking of burning clutch, I was jogging earlier this week on a local college campus and saw a father and son in a Honda Civic not moving. As I passed I noticed the stench of burning clutch and the frustrated look on their faces. I guess I witnessed Jr's first lessons on a clutch.

How do you know they were father and son? Maybe the kid was scared and the adult was frustrated...
