The 4Runner handled the 997 and U-Haul trailer with no problem through the hills of SoMD. With a lightened track car, I'm thinking it shouldn't be a problem with a steel open trailer - even an enclosed trailer shouldn't exceed tow capacity.

The wheel base is just a few tenths short of 110, so stability up to a 20' trailer shouldn't be a problem. Trailer brakes should take care of any issue with being able to stop it.

What am I missing? I'm not trying to cross the Rockies - and at this point, not even the Shenandoahs.
