NASCAR drivers are pussies

Paraphrased, every racer other than NASCAR drivers drive in the rain.

I'm wondering if for the additional eyeballs tonight for it being on Monday will illuminate for folks why they don't race in the rain.

They can barely race there in the dry!

There are a fair number of PCA racers who refuse to race in the rain...take a look at the Road Atlanta thread on Rennlist for examples. Surprisingly, it includes some of the top club racers.

Heck, just take a look at how many Red and Black Group divers go out when it rains :lol:

Seems like it's an oval thing, not a NASCAR thing (and seriously - they don't race because their afraid.....really????). They don't race in the rain because them's the rules....why them's the rules - I have no clue.

I think I've seem dem boyz from Nascar racing on road courses in the rain. Doesn't the Indy series run in the rain, even on ovals?

Juan Pablo has trouble passing the jet-drying truck, maybe the dry conditions are too difficult for him.....that could have been really awful......

Indy does not and has never run in the rain on ovals. They do race in the rain on road/street courses.
