Hi Kallan -- welcome to the show.

Great to see your interest: PCA could do with more younger people (says the fellow younger person).

Will you be at the DE this weekend?

Welcome Kallan!

Don't worry about your age.....worry about our age.

But seriously, good range of folks on this Board. Sand flies every once in a while, but in the end we all help clean up the mess.

I just join Dorkiphus. I am primarily interested in resetting my air bag indicator. I do most of all my maintenance on a 986. Recently removed the passenger side seat in order to install water pump. Didn't realize once harness was disconnect air bag indicator is activated. Can only be turnoff with special tool. Thus, my research (didin't want to pay $60 to dealer to turn off light)I found out about Durametrics and Dorkiphus. So, I will purchase the basic version of the Durametic kit, unless some member is willing to do it for me with thier Durametic kit or willing to share the cost of purchasing one for person use.

Welcome! Please provide at least your first name, and some info on your car.

Sas far as your technical issue goes, I recommend you open a new thread in the appropriate section of the forum, as the Intro thread is not used for problem solving and is not read by as many people.

Hello all,
I'm Rob and have looked forward to having the pleasure of owning a Porsche since the posters were on my bedroom wall as a kid growing up in Fairfax. (still trying to work out where to hang those same posters w/ Mrs. Rob...)

Purchased my '09 997S in December and joined PCA shortly thereafter. Going to Cars n Coffee @ Katies & Starbucks in Fair Lakes made me realize that waiting for something you've always wanted in life is silly. So after about a year of looking and driving just about everything i found my new love (lousy cellphone pic from a great trip up Skyline last week) and i'm looking forward to learning much more about my car from y'all.
Cheers.
