Based upon the picture, your rear hatch glass appears to be in pretty good condition, compared to alot I've seen. Stay away from new (strong pressure) hatch struts and it should stay leak-free for a long time. In fact, removing existing struts, and conceding to use of a prop will likely make it last even longer. I've seen some cars where the hatch swings up and open as soon as the catches are released; those are pending candidates for separation. There's some info online about redoing the bonding paint, and as good as your hatch appears to be, it might be a worthwhile project to make it even more valuable.

Nope, not parting - going to the track-side and selling off the stuff I'd been keeping to return to stock. Looks like Dimi has a door, I've got a fender and some time so am looking forward to getting back on track again this year.

I've started restoring my spare hatch, so the one on the car can go. Good point, Tony - while doing one hatch I might as well do two...
